Welcome Freshman First Day of School!

September 6

  1. Welcome Back!
  2. The Quintessential Yearbook Speech
  3. Mood Board
    • In Photoshop, create a new PSD file that is 11" x 8.5" (landscape) 300 resolution
    • Your name with a font stroke
    • Use the brush tool to create three different color swatches that are your favorite colors
    • Use the text tool to display your favorite font with three different versions of the same font, i.e., bold, regular, light, – see exmaple
    • Insert a picture of you – cut yourself out using either the magic wand, quick selection, eraser, or pen tool
    • Include 2-3 different logos of activities or things you are interested in
    • Save as .jpg (quality "high") "lastname-firstname-mood-board"
    • Email to jeremy.sinks@district6.org – Subject: Mood Board

  2. Create a "Yearbook" folder in your U drive
  3. Mood Board – Finish Today
