The 2017-18 Crater Constellation Yearbook Cover Contest
It has become Crater High's unique tradition to use student art for the yearbook cover and we need your help to design the perfect cover.
We are in need of your great ideas and artistic talent. See what you can brainstorm, capture and create in your art to show your vision of Crater 2016-2017. Good Luck!
We will have some sort of sweet prize to the winning design - definitely a free Yearbook – the rest to be determined.
All artwork becomes property of Crater Yearbook
- Create a new folder and title it "yearbookCover" – place in an appropriate location in your U drive
- Save all asset files (this would be images you download, etc) in this folder
- Save as "17-18YbookCover_last name"
- Be Creative and save as you go!

Digital Versions Only – will accept files from Photoshop and Illustrator – non-digital designs must be scanned at a 300 dpi resolution – please email jeremy.sinks@district6.org with questions
Requirements
The design MUST INCLUDE:
- 2017-18 on the front cover
- A variation of One of the following:
- Crater
- Crater High
- Crater Constellation
- On the spine: Crater High School Constellation 2017-18 - Volume 67
- You may or may not list all the school names, i.e., Renaissance Academy, Crater Academy of Health and Public Services, Crater School of Business, Innovation and Science, or school acronyms (CRA, CAHPS, BIS)
- School logos located in the shared drive – P:\handouts\CSB\Logos
Design Parameters
- Total Size of Design is Height - 11" (inches) by Width - 17" (inches)
- Leave a 1/4" bleed (space) around design – this is for printing purposes
- Resolution must be set at 300 dpi
