Establishing a methodolgy for studying is paramount to succeeding in college. Every individual is different in this regard. Think about how you learn best and apply this to your studying strategy.
Some example steps to creating an effective study guide:

- Make a list of specific objectives that will be on the test – for our purpose, this would include making a list of all the assignments that are to be tested in this final (we've done this for you below)
- Find examples and problems for each objective you have listed – for our purpose, this would include specific questions asked within the assignments that highlight key concepts
- Learn definitions of new words – try writing these definitions from memory to see if you really know them
- Select problems from past homework assignments – not just the easy ones, review and redo them
