Dystopian World Character Sketch

The world as we know it has ended – well, perhaps ended is a bit apocolyptic – the world as we know it has changed so dramtically that it is virtually unrecognizable as the world of 2016.

First, Pick a Scenario

  1. Global warming got so far out of control, sea levels rose 20 feet, the climate is unpredictably violent, and sources of food scarce. Disease and starvation wiped out 80% of the world's population. There is no such thing as a unified country or large governing body – warlords dominate regional areas.
  2. The Great Global Obliteration, as the war was called, used advanced chemical and nuclear strikes in the first wave to wipe out the largest city center populations accross the globe. The second wave unleashed terrible diseases on the remaining populations. No one knows for sure who struck first or why, but the only people to survive were small, remote groups in the mountains and valleys far away from the cities. Out of the ash of destruction, a new form of humanoids rose and seek to establish a new world by destroying everything that was old human.
  3. Aliens destroyed much of the world's military, paving the path for an easy invasion and enslavement of mankind. No one knows what this alien race wants with human slaves, but one thing is clear, once they have what they need, all of humanity and the earth will be destroyed. Only a few hundered people escaped the clutches of these alien beings by hiding in deserted cold war bunkers deep underground.
  4. A solar flare from the sun wiped out half of the planet, leaving it a charred and unrecognizable wasteland. Of the other half of the planet, a quarter of it was leveled to the ground from the energy of the solar flare, and any survivors of this blast perished from radiation. Of the remaining survivors, the radiation made everyone sterile (no more babies) and to save mankind from extinction, they need to find a solution.
