an image of planets, space, etc that you will use as your background layer. When searching >make sure your background is at least 1000 pixels

- Find an image of Gumby that you like (or use the one above)
- put it into your student directory (u:drive) (you can do this by rt. clicking on the image>save picture as>save as gumby in your digital media folder )
- Working
with planets
- Open your planet image from your directory in Pshop and unlock it
- drag into GSProject - this is your background
- resize to fit - rememer your planet image needs to be at least 1000 pixels
- Working
with Gumby
- Open up the gumby image in Photoshop
- Unlock the gumby layer
- Use the quick selection tool, magic wand, lasso, or the pen to clean out the background> this should just leave Gumby in the transparent background
- use the move tool and drag Gumby onto the planet backgound
- Click
into the image of Gumby
- Using the move tool
- resize Gumby so he will be a good fit on the planet (hold down shift and grab a corner - this keeps the integrity of the image intact).
