This Is Me! Premiere Rush

Introduce yourself! You had the opportunity to storyboard about you, now is the time to take that storyboard and turn it into a great video, which is a perfect way to share stories. We want our students to tell their own stories while learning how to work with Premiere Rush. When you are finished with your This Is Me video, you will then share with us and with others via email, social media, YouTube, etc.

In this project, students will create a short personal story using Adobe Rush CC. In that this story is about you, it can be anything your are interested in. School, family, hobbies, sports, art, etc. All is game, as long as it’s about you!

To Do:

  •  Create a video using Adobe Premiere Rush CC

Planning (Pre-production):

  • Students will have written a Storyboard to help plan their story. While the video doesn't need to be an exact replica of your storyboard, it should have the general ideas you have scripted out.

Filming:

  • With storyboard complete, students will need to capture footage using your phone or a digital camera. Students can partner as necessary to help each other out through filming, etc - please let Sinks and Rogan know if you do not have the ability to film

 Editing:

  • Students will organize and trim clips to tell their story.

Requirements:

  • Two minutes long (should be trimmed to that exactly) - Royalty free music - transitions - voice overs (we have computer mics) - titles as listed below - motion graphic

 Titles:

  • Open with your Digital Media Video production logo (max 3 seconds)

Add an Opening Title (This Is Me - Introducting Your Name)

  • Add an Ending Credits (add writer, director, producer, camera operator and any others that helped)

Music:

  • Students will add a Music track. Can be the music provided in Adobe Rush or royalty free music. If you are a musician, include your own!

Motion Graphics:

  • Adding motions graphics adds some flare to videos. Possibly provide extra credit to those students that add motion graphics.
