  4. Discuss purposes of gesturing-- effective and ineffective

  5. Watch VIDEO on 4 purposes of gesturing-- take notes!

  6. Discuss four types of gestures-- when is each appropriate?

  7. Get Chromebooks-- Choose a couple of lines of a famous speech (JFK, MLK, Malcolm X, etc.)

    • Memorize the line(s), adding at least two types of gestures

    • Practice with a partner

    • Recite lines for the class on Wednesday!
