Jersey

You will be creating a two color design, black and silver, in the style of a sport jersey. You will have to download the type face "Ballpark Weiner" from urbanfonts.com.DngrRngr

The two fonts you will be using are Ballpark Weiner, and Ariel. The top word needs to be curved, and the bottom tail needs to be curved, which means the Ariel word on the tail needs to be curved as well. These are requirements of this assignment.

This is a multi part design. You need to Make your top word in Ballpark. First you need to allign with curve and bend the text. Then you need to Merge overlapping text to join all the letters. Spend some time at this point cleaning up the letters and making the transitions between letters smooth.

Jerseyintegrate

You will need to draw your the tail, integrate and join to the letters.tail

You need to type the second word. Make sure it fits in the tail before you bend it to fit the tail curve.

ranger

Align with curve. Selecting the endpoints and making them curved polylines will allow you to curve the beginning and end of the tail word.

This will all be the black layer. The silver layer is created by using the offset function to trace the outlline of the word and tail. Make sure you can select the outline of the word only. If everything is integrated you will need to break polyline so only the outline is selected. Start with about .12 and adjust to get a good outline.

offset

If the offset does not look right adjust it.

Things need to be integrated in two groups. All of the letters on the top word, the letters inside the tail, and the insides of all the letters, are integrated with the small tail.

The outline is integrated on its own. 2layers
