DECA STATE - go #craterdeca

  1. Focus - at least 4 items done by end of today - please add the #craterbis (along with #bisMEDIA)
  2. Video.Profile - Visual Edition
    • Each student will take video and/or use still images of a classmate or another individual completing a visually-oriented task based around a skill or hobby (knitting, juggling, playing a musical instrument, playing video games, weight lifting, basketball, running, dancing, skating, driving, etc.) You will have to collect footage of the task being performed and interview the student about how he or she began, learned and developed the skill, continues to explore its personal meaning/importance, and sets goals for the future.
    • Then, using your smart phone or Movie Maker or __________ (your choice) create a 1-3 minute video**** about the other student, profiling their skill. A credits sequence (in some form) is required. Music should be used to enhance your video.
    • Teach us about the person you are featuring - make it interesting. Great way to meet someone! Yes, you may use kids from this class. Follow the path of beginning, middle and where they are now or the 5 W's 'n H (Who, What, Where, When, Why and How).
    • The video will be posted to YouTube, tagged with #bisMEDIA and #craterbis - also, email me your finished product. This is due at the end of the holiday on Monday (President's Day) the 16th (just before midnight).
    • **** - means this is negotiable if you have a better way! Let me know.

      4. Rogan will be checking and grading - due by end of school day tomorrow (you can do in this class period - do not use anyone from our social media class)
      5. Remember a picture is 23 characters, your name takes characters, #craterbis takes
        characters - you have to be creative!
